Same boat, waiting for 1.0, now worried I’ll miss the boat entirely, but I’m not going to buy their early access for that fear mongering. They made millions, they can ensure their game lives on one way or another.

If you got a deck and expected it to run the latest AAA titles, you are an idiot.
Yup one of the best games I’ve played
This guy is irresponsible with the power he holds. I hope the UK removes access to his failing social media platform
Bit confused, Google has its own browser, its own search engine, and provides a somewhat easy method to access the majority of the Internet and does it well but some people are upset because they cannot compete? What is the point in doing something so good that you become the best in the business? Everyone comes to you for your service, but you get punished because you’re a monopoly? I’m thinking about Valve here as well. It’s a major retail platform for PC games because nobody does it better. Publishers get upset its top dog, and their shity half arsed clients get no light.
Is it not the point of a business to make money and be good at their service that they increase revenue yearly and drive innovation?
I’ll check it out, thanks
I would love to swap to Linux if I could play all my games without having to dual boot etc. Steam have done wonders with the proton compatability on steamdeck so there is hope but a lot of my hardware also requires software that is windows only too.
It might be a stupid comment I’m no Linux expert, but looking forward to the steamOS coming out for PC.
As 12 comes out I think we will see a lot of gamers moving to Linux thanks to the much anticipated SteamOS release. Windows 12 will still be “successful” among the general public but Linux usage will skyrocket as Microsoft break that straw on the camels back for the more experienced users.
Personally I will move to Linux, likely start with dual boot in the transitional phase and as SteamOS improves and game publishers realise they need to support Linux and take it more seriously.
Not a Linux fan at all but with my steamdeck usage and setting up Mint on a NUC for a server I’ve been very impressed with Linux progression. It’s still not perfect, needs to be more user friendly but it is getting there.
this looks good, I have saved another peg board 3d print set and plan to do this eventually. I have the board and a printer, its just the time to mess around and try to mount it as its technically custom depending on your PC setup. Just not sure I can manage with the downtime whilst I fiddle with Starfield out and party animals later this month :D
It works for me…
Wasn’t it free to a certain level anyway?
Reddit felt so damn simple to use where this is an absolute cluster fuck of complexity in comparison. It really needs to be simpler if there are hopes to take down reddit. Hopefully with boost and sync devs making a client things may improve.
Full speed in the dark, I think most people would failed to avoid that. What’s concerning is it does not stop afterwards
