Some of my first memories were of watching my parents play Ultima 4. :D
Sometimes I wonder if the Ultima games were some of the first open-world games.

Gross. Maybe Steam will start listing “In Game Advertising” along with the AI warning on the store pages.

Good thing he’s anonymous I guess!

Is that the final one? I didn’t want to buy it until it was all done. Although I’ll probably wait for a discount regardless…

Thats wild. You’d think it would be easy for companies to sue or shutdown those, but I guess not!

Dwarf Fortress is linux compatible, although I haven’t played it in years its a colony builder that can get super in-depth. Its interface is a learning hurdle though.
You might like Conan Exiles, its a sandboxy survival game that just got updated recently with better graphics. I kind of feel its more a exploration game than a builder though. Hrm…

I didn’t even know cheat “services” was a thing. Its kinda hard to feel bad for the victims though if they were cheaters.

A bunch i really liked were:

That is kinda my view too. I feel a trackball would have worked better than a touchpad, but maybe I just haven’t used touch pads enough.
Thanks! Looks like it has good reviews too.

I played a bunch yesterday, its fun. :)

I guess love really can bloom on the battlefield.

Convince more people to start using more adblocks. I use ublock origin and sponsorblock(for youtube) on my PC. Not as sure what is available for phones. Adverts are a cancer on society! :D
I thought Neverway looked pretty good. Also Lost Railway, even though I’m not much into multiplayer.

Somebody should make some single player ones. The concept sounds fun, but I have little interest in live service stuff.

Mostly for the fun of having a grudge at this point, haha. A long time ago when I was a kid they made a name for themselves with the “Gamers Bill of Rights”. It earned them a bunch of goodwill, and then they immediately released a game in a completely broken state missing half the features they advertised. At which point they dropped their “gamers bill of rights” and refused to give refunds like it stated.
Not particularly heinous by todays standards though I guess.

Thanks, I didn’t know that. I can maintain my silly decades old grudge vs Stardock now, haha.

Ah, my mistake. Nobody should have that much money.
Lens flare doesn’t bother me, but its “Depth of Field” that drives me bonkers. I always turn motion blur and depth of field off.
