You seem to be confused, when I say it’s specaltive I mean the capacity has been purchased for data centers that are far behind schedule and may never be built.

To be fair; while the business market will always be lucrative than the direct to consumer one, the current demand is speculative (which is to say the memory that was purchased for data centers that are already 2-4 years behind schedule or have yet to even break ground).

On top of that the capital to fund it is cyclical and recycled which presents an enormous concentration risk, it is by no means indicative of a healthy market. If we had regulators that weren’t lackeys for venture capital then the need for intervention is obvious.

That being said, we agree, just lamenting the loss of regulatory power that could have prevented this.

Considering they fired the last person who objected to falsifying the report, I would say they’re deliberately fabricated.
