DX11 is just more stable even on Windows.

M$ kinda screwed up with DX12 I still remember Battlefield 1 being unplayable on DX12 mode even on the new PC I built just to play that game on the highest settings.

Had a friend recently try to send me this “arr-stack” that automatically grabbed the top new movie/tv releases of every month. Since he heard I was “doing it the old way”.

When I told him the VAST majority of shit coming out isn’t stuff I’m interested in watching he tried to convince I could just blacklist those things…So almost everything your bot grabs? instead of just grabbing what I actually want?

I am using a full AMD system and don’t run into driver issues with any other games but I’ll still check.

Sadly Lutris logs aren’t giving anything useful just ‘Child 29151 exited with wait status: 0’ Which is apparently a “nothing error”

And nothing on Protondb as this game never released on Steam.

I did also try setting Wine to Windows XP mode but that also didn’t help or gave me a separate memory error bug.

Just beat MotorStorm: Apocalypse this morning.

I played through the first 2 and the PSP/PS2 spinoff last year but Apocalypse wasn’t in a playable state on RPCS3 so I stopped there. Tried it again this week and it runs great after you tweak the settings and apply the community patches to disable resolution scaling.

Just note unlike the other souls game enemies in 2 can permanently despawn after killing them multiple times.

The workaround is you can join the Company of Champions back in Majula, It’s the Alter up a hill to the right of the path that takes you to Heide’s Tower. It’s make enemies always respawn at the cost of them doing 50% more damage. Luckily the hand creatures are weak to fire and the puddles of oil they hide in can be lit up using fire arrows or bombs.

Started playing Split/Second on the PSP after I couldn’t get the main PC version to work fully with my controller.

Also Typing of the Dead Overkill since I just got a new keyboard it seemed like the perfect time to play it.

Depends if Valve also require disclosure if “frame-generation” was used in the benchmark.

Very easy to claim a game runs at 4K 60fps when it’s actually 720p 30fps with blurry up-scaled frames in-between.

It fixed the lag spikes I experienced playing some of the older Call of Duty titles so it’s overall been a huge upgrade for me.
