Cynical and bitter mutualist & consequentialist. Xenofeminist. LGBTQIA Ally. Rabidly hedonistic & sex positive. Soft Anti-natalist. Atheist’s anti-theist. Polyam Finsexual. He/Him (but honestly pretty gender ambivalent).

I hate accelerationists (left or right) and their apologists as much as I hate fascists.

I want to forgive people who were eligible to vote in the US 2024 elections and choose not to vote for Harris. However, I don’t think I can, other than a particular someone who I fell in love with, so you might as well be unrepentant I guess because I probably wont fall in love with you.

I used to want good things, but everyone else seems to be fine with bad things. So now I’m also pro-vacuum decay event.

  • Hur hur, food over socializing amirite guys???

That said, I have always specifically hated clubbing because I don’t care about dancing, I enjoy drinking alcohol and talking to people though. Or at least I used to before becoming so depressed about my (ex?)friend group that I don’t think if I won the lottery I would care.

  • That is a cute baby, but in my own situation I literally could not afford or accommodate a pet anyway. Plus, If a cat showed up, I would get kicked from my apartment (cameras) if I tried bringing in a animal without first getting their OK. I’d have to get a friend to come pick it up from me outside of the complex.

  • The average American citizen wont understand or care about this, and yet I do imagine there are pretty negative long term implications for them, along with all the other garbage being piled onto them.

I brought up that the cost of diesel has gone up massively (particularly at the start of the Iran conflict) and has started to rapidly balloon again to a co-worker at my 2nd job said he did not care about the price of diesel because he doesn’t use diesel…

I carefully explained to him that everything is shipped over land is using diesel and this will cause the price of everything to go up and he pushed back again saying “Well everything is going up in price anyway.” Its like dude WTF do you even do with people like this? I did not even touch on the expense of using heavy construction and farming machinery also increasing costs of everything…

He described himself once as someone who agrees with democrats on social issues but thinks republicans are better on the economy and I internally was like DUUUUDE THIS IS THE FUCKING REPUBLICAN ECONOMY RIGHT NOW YOU FUCKING TROGLODYTE AAAHAHHAHAHA WE FUCKING DESERVVVVE THIIIIIIIISSSS.

  • That makes sense for the average person maybe. Unfortunately, I am not the average person and I will almost certainly be cripplingly even more sad in old age. I have strong reasons to believe this, largely due to having missed out on life more or less by sheltering myself from it in my youth. And as I age I’ll continue to know this and it’ll become more and more cemented and bitter.

Though I will say, this also might be influenced by the fact that they merely surveyed a slice of people, and older people might have been happier in 2012 (and continue to be so) because they have more money than previous generations will have in their own old age.

  • If their rage is impotent, the Nazi’s with the the money, political power, and monopoly on violence would turn them into paste, no?

Do you think “shitlibs” would win a fight with them? Or do you just want the Nazi’s to have an excuse to kill all of them because you hate them as much as the Nazis? Because it often just kind of feels like the latter with this kind of discussion.

No one owes the world to give up their life, no one chose to be here. One especially does not owe their life to people who explicitly did not even try to prevent the mess we’re in in the first place: the average US voting eligible person.

Why should anyone lift a fucking finger to help my fellow Americans by risking their life if they’re on average a bunch of selfish negligently-ignorant-at-best dipshits that let Trump win? Fuck 'em.

  • Assuming you aren’t just concerned about the slur: The average voting eligible person in the US is a petulant imbecile. Willingly or at best negligently ignorant of the consequences of elections, to a degree that if you care about character or virtue, they are worthy of deep and bitter scorn.

In the past I normally would not care about character or virtue in the context of debate or discourse but now my views of people broadly are so negative after November 2024 that its kind of hard to care about the average person’s well being anymore or to argue about how to bring about the best outcomes for said average people.

    Really long story:

I once knew a girl in high school who I, in a rare moment of boldness while we were away from prying eyes, asked if she would be my girlfriend. She had been my friend for a short while and she fucking chuckled immediately in response, almost instinctively and said “No, sorry.”. My autistic ass did not exactly immediately understand why she laughed until I ruminated later.

That said, she seemed to be very friendly with me afterward, like maybe she felt bad and still liked me as a friend… And despite feeling hurt by the way she responded I still hung out with her every once in a while. She eventually got a hot confident boyfriend, because she was also hot. And I kind of started avoiding her because it hurt seeing her with a guy who I felt clearly was better than me, caused me to spiral into self loathing when I saw him. I did not know I was autistic, I just knew I was an infamously weird dork.

Fast forward ~11 years later I stumble into her and she looks like shes a different and much sadder person. I don’t want to body shame but she looked a lot worse and I was no longer particularly attracted to her, she was ok looking. She was going on about a recent break up with a guy who she said cheated on her to the bartender.

Now I’m polyamorous, and I legit don’t understand and actively dislike monogamy, but obviously I have a faint idea of how painful being cheated on would feel like, and she seemed super sad and I felt bad for her. After talking with her and catching up a little for like 20 minutes, she drunkenly tried to make out with me.

I got away from her and the internal anger I felt was supremely intense. Like, what the actual fuck, fuck you. You fucking said no and now that you’re washed up and depressed about your ex using me as a fall back.

I cannot describe the feeling of grief flare as well. Like, maybe if she had said yes back then. Maybe I could of had a normal romantic experience as a high schooler instead of being what I was. Sure maybe also wouldn’t have worked out like most relationships, but still. I was a really lonely fucked up high schooler with a completely empty romantic life. Just a void.

I’m doing better now romantically but I was also still having trouble getting any romance at this point in my life even 11 year later. I was still painfully lonely. But the absolute bitterness I felt toward her made even pity for her out the fucking window for me and my desperation for any intimacy dried up instantly in that moment.

Part of me wonders if I should have just gone for it and I was being petty. I don’t know. It just makes me kind of sad to think about.

  • I thought he was playing a character before he ran for president in 2016. Like I never watched The Apprentice, but I saw ads for it and I figured he was just playing an exaggerated asshole clown of a boss.

If Trump had run and won as a democrat in 2016, I probably would have intensely disliked him like I did Biden and HRC, but not hated him like I do now because the democratic party would have steered him in very different ways than the GOP has.

I largely now hate his voters and hope they suffer far more than I hate Trump. Nothing but antipathy for them.

I think their point was that dating apps do the opposite. They show you only a trickle of what you actually want, then barely or never show your profile with them, and spend a huge amount of time showing you ads and asking you to pay them to see all your likes.

They want you there as long as possible, and then they want you frustrated and desperate enough to just pay the ransom for the likes your profile already generated. They’re evil.
