I’m glad you are doing this. Pinephone and Librem 5 days are surely numbered, the hardware is just too outdated. My Librem 5 is also starting to fail, some times i can’t even get it to power on without restarting several times. I will never use Android or iOS, they are just too exploitative and untrustworthy, so it’s a relief everyone isn’t completely abandoning the idea of a free libre phone.

I think we are getting close to the Deckard being announced, the successor to the Index. Hopefully they do hand controller refresh/redesign, the joystick potentiometer they used in the Index Controllers were dog shit.

Installed with just one error dialog which didn’t prevent the game from running. Worked fine.

Missing the track pads, total garbage.

I play with my deck every day, probably more than my actual PC these days.

Can’t remember what i paid but was cheap, beat invaders, pretty awesome space invaders like arcade game, fun addictive game play, good music and sound effects, good visuals. Blast through fleets of enemies, skill up, and compete for daily and weekly high-scores. 32 hours played so far and is perfect for the Steam Deck.

I didn’t have to mess with anything once everything was installed. Plays decently, no hitches or slowdowns. Just don’t bother with the high texture download. Hit level 30 so far.
