  • It’s important to consider the conditions in which state ownership was deemed necessary. Countries with a starving and illiterate working class isn’t as capable at a true worker owned economy as one that already has a well fed and educated working class. A true socialist society needs basic infrastructure and fulfillment of the basic needs of its people before it can be properly implemented.

Lenin’s concept of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat was intended to be a temporary system intended on rapid development and growth of the economy. It was more important to try and stop starvation and establish railroads than build worker co-ops. The mistake was when the leaders that came after decided to never cede power back to the working class.

  • So, obviously research this yourself and don’t listen to some dumbass on the Internet. As I understand it, there’s a difference between soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber is good for your cholesterol and blood sugar. Insoluble fiber is good for digestion. It’s very likely that any fiber gummies are gonna be soluble fiber. I take the metamucil capsules for insoluble and fiber gummies for soluble.

This has been my nerd rant.

It was many factions. I’m just saying all of them were trying to have third revolutions while the people starved to death. At some point, revolutions end with a unifying government that isn’t trying to murder each other. Lenin was not the villain you’re painting him to be.

That’s not true at all. The Mensheviks wanted to cooperate with the bourgeoisie and were therefore a bad representation of socialism. Lenin formed the Bolsheviks because the Mensheviks were being stupid. The country was also fractured after the revolution and many groups of counter-revolutionary groups were trying to overthrow the barely formed government. Meanwhile famines were ravaging the country. Understanding the historical context of Russia in 1917 and the economic struggles the people were dealing with is very important to understanding why things happened the way they did. Looking at the aftermath of a revolution where everyone is vying for power and killing each other doesn’t automatically make the winner of that power grab the bad guys.

  • 60% of Bytedance is owned by institutional investors. It’s a private company. The CCP doesn’t own the company. 3 of the 5 board members are American. Don’t spread made up bullshit. If there’s any reason not to sell the company to a US company is because only 150 million Americans are tiktok users on an app with over a billion monthly active users globally. Not to mention that the US companies are gonna lowball the shit out of their offers because they think Bytedance is gonna be begging to sell. Also, there’s a chance that if the US bans tiktok, then maybe they could get access to China, which tiktok is not currently available in.
