Is it possible to connect an Ethernet cable to my TV, but only have it connect the local network, not the Internet? I.e., just a LAN connection. I have very little desire to watch YouTube on my TV, but I do have a personal Emby server that is not connected to the wider net but is accessible locally.
Did you even bother to look? Your post makes it seem like you didn’t and just want to make other people do it for you.
The MegaThread is clearly labeled and conveniently divided into categories, and any source that is ranked as a GOAT source is clearly marked by a goat icon.
Balllllllllllllllllls...
...That being said, this is exactly what I was talking about.
Okay, so I installed it through F-Droid and tried to find this station
but it couldn’t find it even when I included the callsign.
Am I doing something wrong?
Sorry, I should have specified: I’m speaking from the perspective of a Midwestern American.
I honestly miss that in modern handheld devices. A lot of radio stations aren’t even available as Internet radio, and if they are, there’s often no common search database (except iHeartRadio, except fuck iHeartRadio) so you have to manually input the stream URL, and a lot of them make it a pain in the ass to even find the stream URL on their site.
In short: fuck Internet radio. FM’s where it’s at.
Edit: Sorry, I should have specified: I’m in the US, specifically the Midwest.
Short answer: it depends on the person and situation.
Long answer: it depends on the person and situation.
As a Linux newb…
Thanks for the education. :)
True.
The most interesting part to me is watching the color fade from their intestines. It’s actually very fast from pink to gray.
That’s due to oxygen deprivation, right?
Wait, heart attacks can result in blood loss?
Not OP, but I would imagine most likely the US, though I admit that is by no means a certainty.
Even if the title is 100% accurate to the content of the video, the title is still clickbaity, as it definitely has emotional language in it designed to capture the attention of viewers. Also, the exclamation mark.
Gross.
Welp, I sure hope either we stay on the winning side of the cat-and-mouse game or a lot of creators jump ship to other emerging platforms (not that there are many), because it’d be a damn shame to have to stop watching some of the creators I enjoy watching. Many of them are damned talented folks IMHO.
I’ve heard good things about Nebula, but sadly a lot of the channels I watch are not quite on there yet. Also, I’m broke, so there’s that. Lol.
“It’s the one at the end.”
Turns out it’s Pump #2, not Pump #1…
Wait, they have? I wonder how/if that would affect the functionality of apps like Newpipe/Freetube.
I’m not even gonna watch the video with such a clickbaity title as that… Yikes.
Okay, I checked, and as far as I can tell (which doesn’t mean much as I don’t know much about this stuff, mind you) it does seem like I can control outbound rules. However, I don’t know how to find out the IP address of the TV. Additionally, I don’t know if my router is IPv4 or IPv6 in this context, but according to the online spec sheet for my router model it supports both.
