nah. I like calling people out for giving the single downvote they use as the “I disagree with you” button as if it matters.

Yeah. Epic delisted the old games. You can not purchase a new copy on any of the digital store fronts, even the single player games. They also shutdown the servers that listed the available open servers. Not the game servers themselves that had map files stored on them. The master server was just a list of IP addresses that cost next to nothing to run. You can configure your install of the games to point to community run master servers, but no new players will know how to do that without someone helping them.
There was some privacy centered linux group that used Telegram that I thought I needed to follow, but noped out when they required a real phone number.
The Unreal franchise can provide the Unreal franchise. There was no real reason for epic to delist the games from all the store fronts and shutdown the master servers other then wanting to control their brand. It was costing them pennies to keep that stuff up and to even shudown the single player games was completely.
As far as “the modern gaming landscape” goes, it can suck it. I’m not interested in playing modern multiplayer shooters. I’m tried a few and they come across as walking simulators and fidget spinner simulators.
No one’s bothering to read the article or even the summary before commenting.
There’s a lot of old designs that still look better, or at least more unique then the newer stuff. Hell, even the 1997 version of the Beetle looks pretty good, but the shape became blanderized over time. Every car company is making the same car because they’re all designed by community and focus groups.
Hell, what’s the deal with the electric Ford Mustang? It’s fine on it’s own, but it’s not even the same body as the gas Mustang of the same year. Why call it a Mustang instead of putting an EV drive train into the actual one?
I wouldn’t own one because it doesn’t fit my lifestyle, but I know people who would love an aluminum bodied EV Beetle. I’d love an aluminum/EV version of the original DeLorean. The new ones looks too much like genetic super cars.
Much more likely to happen though is I’m going to get an Edison conversion kit for my 80’s C10 pickup.
They stopped making the original in 2003 and all models in 2019.
Not sure what that first point was about. Drag isn’t as much of a life style as it is a recreation(at least within the context of the Queer community). When Drag Queens go to work, they aren’t doing it in drag. Not sure where you met those three drag queens, but I would guess it was at a party and that you’ve met many, many more drag queens in your life.
It’s a She and her name is Valentina Gomez.

Any private, medical IP that gets abandoned should be eminent domained. If your company is going under or you don’t want to maintain it, either sell the ip to company that will maintain it or open it up.

The MC cries at genocidal maniacs so they stop and say sorry.
I’ll admit I never finished the books because I thought they were bad. I thought it was annoying that Harry never paid rent while living at the Weasleys. Never bothered to offer to help with the car repairs for the car he helped total. I thought Voldemort was a boring villain and was genuinely surprised when he returned in the second and third books. I found it really annoying when Harry kept loosing positive father figures.
I found it surprising when the Hermione/House Elves storyline never went anywhere. That the racial and classism issues never really challenged outside of “the right ones” being uplifted.
Here’s the pattern. JK likes her status quo. Another pattern, she’s also a bad and boring writer. There’s a whole subgenre of fictions that’s basically “Harry Potter, but fixed”.
That’s close to the original Space Battleship Yamato. By the time earthlings got FTL travel and super weapons, they ran out of proper shipyards and material. They did have enough to retrofit the sunken battleship Yamato from the underside(they already had underground cities to escape the orbital bombings).
Fuck you Tim Sweeney. Fuck the fortnite model and fuck you for delisting and shutting down the Unreal franchise.
I think the “[all pronouns]” in their user name should give you a hint.
What does a real need a bottle opening for? Just rip it off with your bare hands.
That’s not what “leaping to his defense” looks like. There’s a whole chain of people in the decision to have that subplot line. They all should be scrutinized.
Also, downvotes don’t mean anything here.
I hated school before, but getting trash thrown at me and I was the one called to the office to stop what I was doing.
