Do default judgements usually hold a lot of weight when considering precedent?

It does matter though. Can’t play a lot of old PS exclusives on PC. That is starting to change for some new games though.
I wonder what the reason for that speed difference on a seedbox is. I’d like to set up a custom server for other things at home so I’d prefer to use that over a seedbox.
Well yeah, that’s the point. Maybe Sony will stop forcing exclusivity and sign a deal with MS to get Bethesda games back on PS and FF and others on Xbox.
I hear the big downside with Usenet is availability of old or obscure content. Not sure how true this is though as I’ve never used Usenet myself.
Is personal responsibility just not a thing anymore?
Well beehaw.org is hosted in NYC.
Yep, more likely intentional than just a technical issue with the website.
Probably won’t see their firearm for 5 years though.
Smaller instances could probably be run entirely on aws free tier as well.
I’m pretty sure it actually does stand for that in lemmy.ml’s case at least.
This is definitely one of my favorite things, not sure if it’ll stop happening once we start getting more posts though.
This is huge, would love to see any other info on this.
Ah that’s a good point, should probably be doing that.
I just keep things seeding until I need more space, then I’ll remove things based on ratio, average upload per day, and how much I want to keep the torrent alive. For example Queen Charlotte ratio is at 81.12, I don’t really like it but since a lot of people want it I’m keeping it up. Alternatively for anime it’s mostly a ratio of 2-3 but because I know how few people actually seed anime I keep it up (doesn’t hurt that it’s only like 1 GiB per episode too). As for removals I’m probably gonna remove High On Life soon since it’s pretty heavy at 35.98 GiB and only has a ratio of 4.67 after 2 weeks.
Yeah but this could be solved with a slightly more complex bot that tries to determine if a post is a question from the FAQ instead of just blocking new users.
Yeah I imagine anyone with real knowledge that was contributing has jumped ship at this point.
Fallout 76 is extremely different technically from their single player games so of course it’s going to be more buggy. I’d be more interested in a comparison between Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield after it releases. Also the “It just works” quote comes from Fallout 4 talking about the settlement builder. I don’t know what claims they made about FO76 since I wasn’t interested in it but I doubt he would use the same phrase again after it backfired so bad (and I also can’t find any evidence he did say it for FO76). So no, Todd did not “literally say” it just works. In fact for FO76 he said “sometimes it just doesn’t work”.
Are you arguing against it? Has anyone actually done an in-depth analysis to prove that the games are not getting less buggy? I know Bethsda has a vested interest in us thinking it’s true but without any evidence I’d trust them over random people on the internet.
Damn that mouse, I’d even be fine with life of the author in theory. But life of the author +70 freaking years is ridiculous.
