Doing so gives you a unique IP so you lose out on a lot of privacy.

That’s why I stick with RealDebrid because it’s pricing is competitive and they are the biggest. More people caching content for me which means it’s faster than if it wasn’t.

Hey don’t let this scare you away from GrapheneOS as Louis states he doesn’t know how this works and cannot trust the code.

You cannot be specifically targeted as a user of GrapheneOS with backdoors from the project. The entire user base would need to be targeted and this project has to many eyes on it to not be noticed by now.

Don’t understand how they made it this long.

I’m a distro hopping junkie and NixOS has been keeping me on their OS for 8 months now. Highly recommend it.

I pay for the only streaming related site worth it’s money and that’s Real Debrid (or any of the equivalent alternatives). Stremio + Torrentio Addon to friends and family even if they don’t know shit about technology cause it’s so damn easy and fast.

Vuze is a torrent client with an optional I2P plugin called I2PHelper. I2PHelper has a built-in I2P client, meaning that you don’t need to bother with the rather clunky I2P interface.

Everyone here is correct that what your thinking wont work and let me clarify why. When you torrent something the IP address used to download content is shared with everyone in the pool. You get caught when companies or 3rd parties trying to enforce copyright are in that pool and record every IP. So however you download the content, the front facing IP needs to be with an ISP that doesn’t give a fuck about copyright, usually another jurisdiction with lacks copyright infringement laws. If you host a VPN at your house your still using the same ISP which will still bring either a letter or shutdown of service.
