Better yet: start getting your coffee from a local shop and stop going to Starbucks at all! The trick is finding a local shop with real specialty drinks, not just a variety of syrup flavors.
The best argument I’ve hard in favor of dealers is that they introduce competition in sales of a single brand of vehicle. Instead of Ford having a monopoly on Ford vehicles and selling for MSRP only, you can shop around Ford dealerships that all sell the same product but have to compete with eachother on price or whatever.
That system starts to break down when, like in recent years, dealerships collectively decide to stop selling vehicles for MSRP or below and all tack on thousands of bullshit dealership markup fees. Also dealerships are exclusively run by scum of the Earth which massively taints the entire car shopping experience.
I think your link is wrong
Ironically, this gives off an absolute unit of small dick energy
For those without a Twitter, like myself, who can’t view the context, here is a screenshot I stole from some random news article:
It’s a Twitter clone with a smaller but higher quality community. If you liked Twitter you might like Mastodon. If you never liked Twitter, odds are you won’t like Mastodon either.
IMO, it still suffers from the same lords-and-peasants system as Twitter since it’s entirely follower based.
Uncut Gems is anxiety incarnate. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but undeniably a masterpiece.
If you’re a mod on any sub you can still see nsfw content on any other sub?
I welcome the extra content and massive expansion of the fediverse! Having millions of users has its advantages. Smaller communities will still exist.
So much smoother! Thank you for all your charity and hard work!
Me thinks you right. Hope stay good!
Connect for Lemmy is a good Sync clone until the official Sync app releases
Fixing the links for us lemmy users (I think? Still getting used to this myself)

The instance owner/admins are in charge of that. They’re kind of equivalent to the Reddit admins, except if you don’t like the instance admins you can go to a different Lemmy instance but you can’t move to a new Reddit instance. Also, community names are unique to each instance, so !support@lemmy.world and !support@lemm.ee share the same name but are two separate communities in two separate instances.
$20 to remove ads. $99 for ultra (includes ad removal and extra features, many of which require servers).
