I appreciate you mentioning that, thats how I’m considering using the 5 if it ends up as my phone replacement, but I have a hard time interpreting the info around wireless frequency bandwidths supported 🙃 I like pretty user interfaces, networking hurts my brain

I believe this is an issue with both openboard and the aosp keyboard (with jerboa specifically), here lemme find the repo for the open board fork thats still getting development
Edit: https://github.com/Helium314/openboard this fork is under active development. It can be installed via the apks on github or through obtainium. If there isn’t one already it would be helpful to submit a bug report for the issue you’re experiencing. It might be good to open a bug report with jerboa too
I mean liberal and conservative aren’t the same level of crappy in my eyes, but it is accurate to say corporate interests fund both of them. I think its reasonable to question how beholden both of them are to private interests

In the USA I’ve never been to a restaurant that didn’t have salt on the table. Do you mind if I ask where you live?

Pepper is best when fresh, and its an easy way for them to provide an experience for diners where they feel like someone is giving them special care when it comes to their food, if that makes sense. Salt makes no difference freshly ground. Also, at least in the USA, generally no one will be insulted if you ask for salt; is that an experience you have often? And do you have to ask for salt often? Anywhere I eat they just have salt shakers available, it seems odd to me that they’d make people ask

Semicolons, dashes, commas, and colons are all great for breaking up and organizing words without implying to total pause that a period would. I find them perhaps especially useful since I write like I speak, making conveying cadence or pauses to break up run-on sentences particularly important for clarity
Yeah, the secure message button is there in my browser if I’m logged in when viewing your account. its with the block user and send message buttons, just below your profile pic and username, and above the “about me” information
I’m not seeing the option to send a message through jerboa either, but I haven’t checked to see if its there when I view through a browser
You can check my profile too if you need another user to check that has a matrix account on their profile
