I did always see sports flags pre Trump, but they were small and not obnoxious, just like a Bills fan type of thing. Since COVID hit I now see them sometimes in Canada for antivax stuff, and the Fuck Trudeau ones that dumb people favour.

Lemmy, Bluesky, Catodon, and sadly Facebook as that’s where I stay in touch with all my Livejournal friends. I would like very much to delete Instagram as it’s stupid and endlessly gives me anxiety as there’s always some restaurant or business I like announcing their closure, but some people I would miss being able to stay in touch with. I very seldom go on though.
The Blair Witch Project. Terrifying.
The flags on the cars.
My mother has BPD and is pretty vicious, but I think the worst moment was when she told me it was my fault my brother is gay. She HATES the fact he is gay despite really not hating gay people at all and we were raised to love and accept them, and since she hates me she thinks it’s my fault. BPD leads to a lot of disordered thinking.
That’s psychotic.
Vituperative. Means vicious.
I actually knew a dog whose owner taught him how to smile. He’d come running up to you to greet you at the park with his teeth bared in a friendly way.
My store is up to 16 items.
My aunt found out last week she has bowel cancer and I’m super worried. The gastroenterologist thinks surgery should fix things, so here’s hoping, but she’s like my mom so I’m scared.
Landlords. Do I think it’s terrible for some nice old person to rent their basement to students for a good price for a bit of income in retirement? No. But corporate landlords and people hoarding housing can fuck off.
Once a week. I hate feeling like the sheets are dirty and rumpled.
I miss Hannibal.
Classical voice. I like lieder, Matthew Polenzani’s Lizst album is wonderful, or Lisette Oropesa’s Mozart arias album.
What We Do In The Shadows and Letterkenny.
That happens in all Christian churches really, not just the Catlicks.
Left Coast Right Watch.
I am officially in menopause as of next month. Honestly I’ve had almost no symptoms and that’s because I’m psychiatrically medicated to the teeth. Naltrexone seems to have made the most difference, I’m on it for an anxiety disorder, it’s usually used for substance abuse, but I tell you I’ve done really great. Menopause is not to be taken lightly.
I worked in an ER. If you were rabies exposed they moved a lot faster than that.
