Signal sucks from a UI/UX standpoint, when they dropped SMS support I lost any ability to convince people to switch, and everyone who had already switched left.
Then there’s the seamless switching between devices…which it doesn’t do.

Standing by your bed while you’re asleep and berating you isn’t manipulative?
Nah, to needs to leave, now. No sense hanging around to see what this escalates to. Not worth putting in the effort for someone who’s demonstrated they need to grow up.
Did you verify the ISO checksum?
It’s interesting to see large organizations backpedalling when it’s clear things will head to court. Tells us they know their shit won’t stand up in court, and it would set a precedent making it easy for “ambulance chaser” lawyers to file a whole bunch of cases.
Doesn’t Maps or Google Earth have a time-line for places now? Thought it started 4 or 5 years ago, so it’s not everywhere yet.
Though I think that’s just fairly recent images and such. Maybe it permits us submitting really old info/photos?
You could probably set this up on a shared map, getting people to help/contribute/not be a troll would be the challenge.
It’s the only instrumentation we have at that distance that can measure things like solar irradiance.
Interesting question though, which sent me down a rabbit hole to see the capabilities of the instrumentation.
Blame your company for not configuring that shit, or choosing to let MS handle it all.
Personally, no company should be using Office 365 and external mail. Bring that shit back in house.
No Know (wtf autoincorrect?) why bringing it in house costs more? Because it’s worth it, for the control.
Except I don’t want it in a OneDrive folder, I want it in My Docs. Which you now have to browse for every fucking time.
Well, I don’t, because I reconfigured that shit.
Hamachi only does direct machine-to-machine connects, it doesn’t provide Subnet routing.
I’ve used Hamachi for going on 20 years. Tailscale is the closest I’ve come for ease of use/setup.
It’s almost as easy as Hamachi.
There’s a Sync thing client for Mac and iOS(Möbius).
Because even matching skill levels, males have greater strength, endurance, cardiovascular capacity, etc, ad nauseam. They have greater glycogen stores, which means they can perform longer, and they recover faster.
Growth plates are different, bone density is different. Muscle density and structure is different.
Just look at the high school boys soccer team that tromped an Olympic women’s soccer team.
Women have faster reaction times. They have a different/higher pain threshold. They can bear young.
This is just fundamental biology. Frankly it’s baffling to hear your nonsensical arguments.
And that’s without looking at cardiovascular differences, or even as subtle as glycogen storage.
I watch at most 1 video a week. It’s not hard.
One thing to keep in mind: with “knowledge work”, the work is never done - there’s always more to do.
So for middle management it’s really hard to measure productivity, so we get this nonsense.
This is also why Agile project management is so popular - it provides a daily metric of what’s going on, what people are doing. It forces a granularity of communication (which for those of us with lots to do, gets pretty fucking annoying).
I do.
All data is replicated 3x locally, with one cloud. backup.
Having all data in one physical location makes for a single failure point.
Hahahahahahahaha haha, right, right.
Can you be more wrong?
I try not to.
I’ll happily use one or more of any of dozens of proper modern, network-based messaging systems. A few off the top of my head, none of which must be tied to hardware/sim/phone number (Signal is working on moving away from phone numbers, and it’s still not tied to a phone number the same way RCS is):
Matrix
Signal
Conversations
Simplex
Wire
Or pick an XMPP server and client, there’s plenty out there. I was using XMPP on my phone in 2009, chatting, sending uncompressed videos to people on desktops/laptops.
Hell, even Telegram is a thousand times better than this RCS garbage.
Don’t get me started on the privacy nightmare of WhatsApp… Holy shit, may as well not even care about privacy or encryption.
(I have most of these messaging apps on my phones and my laptop, because they work).
And yet when I put quotes around something… It ignores that. Well Google would anyway. Decent search engines don’t.
