Always be aware of accounts made recently on instances with open signups, such as lemmy.today and sh.itjust.works. Some Lemmy apps will tell you when an account was recently made. Sometimes it’s a legitimate new user, but more often than not it’s a troll or ban evader.

Admitting there’s a problem is the first step in finding a solution and getting your shit together. Maybe there’s hope for him, unlike many with similar views.

I prefer the idea of firing them off a cliff with a trebuchet instead. Same end result, far less expensive, and they’re aware the entire time they’re plummeting to their doom. Plus trebuchets are inherently funny.

And if Jones hadn’t hosted said podcast to make such a statement to clip, then said clip wouldn’t exist in the first place. The host is still relevant either way, so your argument does not make sense.

That’s like asking how a building’s foundation is relevant to its structural integrity. The host makes and well… hosts the podcast, they couldn’t be any more relevant to their podcast. Just like how without a foundation you don’t have a building.

Oh, let’s see. They’re selfish, they treat everybody else as below them, they think everybody today has the same opportunities and healthy economy that they did, they cling to power long after they’re well past the point of being completely out of touch with modern reality, and they act like the entire world should cater only to them. Fuck 'em. The vast majority I deal with at work are cranky, miserable, rude, with a permanent scowl on their face. They do nothing but complain and there is nothing you can ever do to please them, and you can bet your ass they’ll still show up the next day to do it again. They also can’t drive and I’ve been struck by one at an intersection because her eyes were so bad she didn’t see me.

But sure, keep talking about how they’re “polite”.

You can politely fuck off and read another comic. Nobody forced you to click on this, and the comm does not have to cater to your specific interests. You have content filters. Use them.

Please tell me this comment is satirical. If not, that’s just genuinely sad. Boomers have never been ones to look up to. I live in a city full of them and deal with them every day.
