I am using Two display (in built display wit h 2560 x1600) and external with 1920 x1080, natively the external display looks good, but the inbuilt display withs application window it looks small, when I try to modify inidividual scaling, it affects both displays, I would highly apperciate the feasible solution on this one.
I have separate resolutions for my laptop and external monitor. I found that adjusting the font scaling was the easiest way to get a consistent size across both.
I’m using Wayland, which has helped me loads with display issues. Have you tried switching to that?
I assume you’re not mirroring your displayed?
If you’re asking how to set a different fractional scaling value for different displays, the answer is that you can’t. You can set different resolutions though in the Displays panel in GNOME Settings.
Ok, so whats the workaround ?.(Is there any)?
There isn’t a workaround. All displays are mapped to one universal display in GNOME’s X11 implementation
