Steam’s own numbers show that it had a peak of 36,905,706 players today. Both of those numbers beat the previous record of 36,354,393 concurrent players, which was set in mid-March of 2024.
36905706 ÷ 36354393 = 1.015This is 1.5% more than the previous record set 3½ months ago. I suppose its nice that the numbers haven’t declined but I’m not sure I would call today’s figure remarkable in any way.
Also, SCOTUS is dismantling the last of democracy in favor of the corporate authoritarian state and there isn’t a damn thing a single one of us can do to stop it, so, might as well enjoy the immersive distraction.
And not only that, but if you spritz leftover pizza with a bit of water before putting it in the microwave, it brings out the flavour more and prevents it from drying out.

An upgrade on that technique is to put the slice in a pan, and pour some water while it’s frying, and put a lid on it to let the steam melt the cheese 👌
I just heat it up in the oven. Gets the crust a little crisper, but it does a good job.
