fyi for anyone stuck at work like myself, you can use the steam app to remotely start the download so long as your computer is awake and connected to internet.

This is an amazing feature of Steam – coupled with being able to activate game codes from the browser, it’s so nice grabbing a game from the office on a break, registering it and installing it so it’s ready when you get home.

I’m at 14% downloaded. 8 more hours to go. Sigh…my internet sucks. Ah well, I’m at work anyway, so here’s hoping that It completes without a hitch and I’ll get to start playing tonight.

Check out ‘geforce now’. It’s Nvidia’s cloud gaming and I’m pretty sure Baldur’s Gate 3 is available now. It’s $20 a month but still cheaper than buying a whole new machine.

Shout out to the other folks who couldn’t remote install it and just started downloading after getting home from work. Hope your internet is fast enough to let you play tonight

Started mine this morning! I got about 15 gb in fifteen minutes before I left for work, so it’s definitely done by now provided Windows didn’t do anything shitty while I was away. Korean Internet FTW!

Is it available on any streaming services (or planned for)?

Pre-upd. Maybe reply instead of downvoting a qustion first?

Upd. Yes, for those interested, it’s available on GeForce Now and Boosteroid.
