People take their shitpost communities too damn seriously, I mean come on it’s shit tier comedy at best, who is out there holding Shitposts up like they’re the holy grail or something. All shitpost are shit posts, that’s the fuckin point!

Back in my day when someone did a shitpost you didn’t sit there comparing it on a scale of jeans to beans, no we took our shitposts for what they were, a minute of joy that is over as soon as it’s done, it’s like when you go get an icecream, it’s great for a while, then you’re hands are covered in cream and you’re banned from ever practising open heart surgery at Bethesda Medical Training Hospital, it’s done and you’re off on your next adventure as if you didn’t accidentally kill America’s next top plasterer.

All in all tho, there’s top quality Shitposts on here and those people complaining need to remember that everything’s made up and the points don’t matter.

Today we have shitposts and shit posts, but in 50 years we’ll have differing genres named from geographical places. All with their own subtle differences depending on the conditions of the surrounding area.

And historians will debate whether it’s a real shitpost unless it comes from the shitty region of the internet, else it’s just sparkling memes.

The EU will have protection laws for memes from certain internet regions, anyone can make a shitpost in the style of lemmyshitpost, but only lemmyshitpost can claim their memes as of original origin.

Those of other origin can name them something else but unless they’re on the list they receive no protection against copying if they make something original to their region.

I’m Jim Shit, owner of Shit Posts, and my family has been making posts for four generations. We care very much about our business name being used for shitposts.

She’s good. Dip just started college too. He’ll be a good Shit. Excited for him to take on the family business one day so long as he stops listening to his uncle Bull—always filling his head with stupid ideas. I’ll be glad when he moves back in with Fulla and we can enjoy some peace in the Shit house again.

Aren’t all posts basically shitposts and also shit posts? I mean none of this is going into “the collected book of 21st century wisdom.” True that nobody cares what you have to say - so what difference does it make. Say what you want and let the buffalo chips fall wherever they will.

A shitpost is the fact that I’m going to rainforest cafe for my 40th birthday in Vegas.

    We are not the same.
