I like the McDonald’s breakfast sandwich with a scrambled egg, figured I’d try the Burger King one for the sake of comparison. But they wouldn’t do it with a scrambled egg. “We don’t do that”. I thought their whole shtick was “have it your way?” Guess not.

First, McDonalds isn’t scrambled, it’s a frozen folded piece of egg that they reheat. They do scramble d for their breakfast platters but that’s it.
Second, really doesn’t sound like you know how fast food works, and really all of it is just clever reuses of the same basic ingredients reheated in other ways. If you haven’t, some good life experience is to work fast food for a short time. You get to learn how horrible people are (and how asinine complaints like this are), while also learning what it’s like to work under a massive corporation.
you can ask for scrambled egg and mcdonalds and they will give it to you instead of the folded one. Its actually one of the best things to do with your breakfast sandwich order. Back before fast food became laughably expensive I used to do that.
First: gotcha.
Second. You’re probably right. Asinine? Maybe? And that’s why I posted here. Now I know I don’t need to go there for breakfast sandwiches.
Yes, asinine.
