Cameras keep folks honest. What other group on earth could harm society the most besides cops because they’re the ones paid to wear them in the first place.

Law Enforcement agencies are already subject to FOIA requests as citizens are to warrants. The data is used to generate the reasonable suspicion for the warrant.

A well regulated surveillance society is still a surveillance society. Instead of building a better society for all to reduce crime, the powerful protect themselves with surveillance.

The difference is that we’ve allowed a private, for profit company to do the surveillance, and they are not beholden to all of the laws that we put in place to keep the Government in check. Capitalism’s latest innovation is outsourcing fascism. The privatization of all of this oppression is accelerating.

But it obviously isn’t working like that. And it won’t be. Because police departments won’t put it the work to hold officers to this standard.

These cameras only will serve the elite and those in power. And no one else.

It’s already been shown they won’t use the cameras to investigate reported crimes.

They just use it to harass and stalk people.
