I just finished Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake last week. I enjoyed the combat a lot more than the original. The recreation in 3D of the locations was phenomenal, so much attention to detail. The music was pretty decent. As far as the story goes, I found it to drag a wee bit in the middle around Ruan/Zeiss but it sure picked up towards the end. The ending with Joshua and Estelle was not what I expected and now I’m hyped for the 2nd chapter in a few months!

Next up, if I get to one this month (currently playing Avowed), will be either Tales of Berseria, Yakuza 0, Ni No Kuni 1 or Clair Obscur.

All games i have played, if you need help for decition just tell us. Out of those 4 i like Tales of Berseria the most. It’s for me a well rounded game without big flaws (in my opinion). I like the story and the characters more than on most Tales of. Battle system works. And i like progression of the game. So maybe my fav Tales of. But the other 3 games are good as well.

Hah! Turns out that’s how I was leaning already. I also have Tales of Arise on my list so was thinking I’d do Berseria next so I could have a break between them.

I guess that’s the decision made now thanks! :D

Slogging through Trails Beyond the Horizon. The story has so many irons in the fire that I can’t be bothered to keep track of it all, which makes progress super slow with short sessions. I’m hoping it’ll catch me soon, but having to go back to small potatoes after saving the world two or three times just makes the start feel extra slow.

I mean such demos are nice, but i’m always annoyed that i can’t continue playing. The start of a game often tells one of the most important parts of a game, the part that needs to convince you to keep playing. And having that seperated by a few weeks is something i don’t really like. So if i play the demo, it’s just before the release. But not sure, i anyways never regret buying a game, regardless if i like it or not. That’s just a personal choice

Nothing in May, but just bought Monster Hunter: Stories (the first one), will be starting it when I am done with my current games. Hopefully within couple of weeks or so.
