Personal note:

This is a dangerous precedent that is already being used to justify banning trans women from women’s bathrooms, and will likely allow male police / security to manhandle women to ascertain their gender. It will also put trans women at a further disadvantage for getting jobs, as if there wasn’t enough stigma as is.

Get ready for the genital inspectors, more transpotting (like with that non-trans lady in the Olympics) and an increased amount of abuse of trans people.

    If I understand this judgement correctly, it is nonsense.

    Let’s assume someone changes their gender by going through hormonal therapy, sex change surgery and finally obtain gender recognition certificate. Does this judgement mean their sex remain the same as before?
