As much as I hate Newsom and the democrats, secession from a lunatic presidency that is ready to tank the global market for the interest of the rich elite would be a big step forward for Americans. What Trump is doing is illegal, there is plenty of justification for California to simply respond by doing equally illegal things like denying the feds and withholding taxes.
