I get it. Season 1 has a great focus on the Lanes and the council, while season 2 is cramming too many parallel perspectives into the same number of episodes.

They should be knitting together next week, I’d wager.

1st act, first three episodes: introduce the characters

2nd act, 3-6: set up happenings for introduced characters

3rd act, eps 7,8,9: start bringing it together and conclude everything

        Or shorter 1 set-up, 2 confrontation, 3 resolution.

Resolution should be less confusing as set up and start of confrontation. I do take your point, but I liked the way they did it and I’m a huge league lore nerd from like 2011 so I don’t know if that affects it.

This is likely because in it’s initial concept, the show was going to run longer. The rumor was the show was originally budgeted for 5 yrs and turned it into two seasons. The show cost $250million (including marketing) to work on both seasons, making it one of the most expensive cartoon shows to make. I think that’s a steal for the run time we’ve gotten compared to most disney movies and for the level of quality we are getting.

In general both of the arcs we’ve seen could have used another episode. Ekko is the third person in the opening credits and we’ve seen him for about 2min this season.

That aside I am really enjoying the show overall.
