I assume many don’t know the trunk on this car is in the front ^^
Still funny seeing a beetle munching grass
What the actual fuck is going on over there. My condolences

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's something that 15 years ago looked like it would be a problem in the future, but didn't turn out to be?
2·1 month agoThats not at all what i meant, and by no means i am belittling the issue. But the dependency is the the point. All official action is actively trying to not improve the situation and just continue running fullspeed against the wall. It is baffling to me how much influence anything fossil fuel related has to convince so many stakeholders to rather burn everything than accept losses. Then again maybe thats just capitalsm at heart.
No idea, just don’t say I am comparing the two as the same. Thanks for the clarification about the CFC producers being small fry, that makes sense. But rejecting the idea of any sort of change in terms of fossil fuels is just fucking stupid, and very common in my experience. And i’m talking about shit like german car producers advocating for their super optimized ICE over shitty woke batteries. Or neglecting the possibility of heating a house without burning shit because infrastructure isn’t in place at this very moment

Why does that sound like such an absurd and faraway fantasy nowadays

72·2 months agoIs there actually any good way to complain about this garbage? Representative politics lol, can EU citizens voice concern in any way? I am not aware of my rights or lack thereof…
I mean if ali & co are just gonna make local warehouses i guess this can be circumvented, but such an insane amount of wasted money and effort while telling the consumer to be at fault is…curious…
Thats exactly the point, if you are on a 40h week and that doesnt cut it, something is very wrong. If you say to work extra as a bonus, well maybe. But if you need it to make ends meet it’s completely fucked imo.
But with enhanced tracking, as a little treat

Edit: just saying it can work. I hate the garbage on that site otherwise and never logged in anymore until i need to search for a job again
I really liked the Jodel app many years ago. Hyperlocal social media that led me to meet and interact with quite a few interesting people that i would never meet in a bar. Okay i am maybe not that introvert, but i hate disco shaky booty
I rather use the page directly and have ublock deal with ads

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your favourite and least favourite fast food chain?
1·8 months agois McDonalds cheap in Norway?
Not much is cheap here, especially food :) But I guess it is cheaper than alternatives. Though, I never actually tried it here, so I can’t say about the quality.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your favourite and least favourite fast food chain?
1·8 months agoI could get good food for that money from the supermarket next door.
Jealous. If only that were true everywhere. Supermarkets suck here…or cost a fortune or both
I’d still rather eat from a trashcan than mcdonalds
Edit: actually thinking about it, there is a fantastic falaffel place in oslo, i guess that would count as favorite. At the very least anything that isnt a chain
I got my close family and partner to use Signal but thats about it in terms of pushing.
Recently my bouldering group also moved to Signal, which was a nice surprise. But we are most likely all a little autistic in some way.
In terms of events: there are still many places that have websites. Admittedly I don’t go out too much, but i find concerts and events just fine when i want to. It’s an active thing though and not just appearing in my feed.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Lemmings who enjoy eating buldak original or hotter noodles. Do you feel nothing when you eat hot buffalo wings? Do you just drown food in hot sauce on a regular basis?
5·9 months agoI do enjoy spicy food in general, but the x2 were hard. Used half the sauce the first time and finished the portion in pain, just because i am stubborn. On the third try i used around an eight of a package to keep it edible.
On the positive side: i put the rest of the sauce in a jar, so now i can add it to all kind of meals in smaller quantities. I really like that

Many comments mention “people i talk to every day”. Is that really a common thing? Literally daily? I have a couple good friends, but definitely none I talk to daily 😅
For me it is more about being friends for many years and always having a good time when we meet. At most I chat 2-3 times a week with some.
