I mean, having to deal with the torrent of that type of content was a big reason why the admin of lemm.ee quit altogether, so I would wager it happens quite a bit.
Edit: This content is also quite explicitly illegal in many jurisdictions, and hosting it on your instance can get you landed in jail.
You’re not supposed to be able to beat every optional boss you find the first time you see it, unless you really are a parry God. The game allows you to circle back to optional bosses at later opportunities quite regularly.
At 0:36 they distinctly say “6-7”
… Teaching middle schoolers has affected me more than I’d like to admit.
This has really worked pretty well for me. I have to stop myself from researching optimal builds and strategies when I’m learning a game because it always accelerates the path to no longer enjoying the game.
The most fun I have is when I approach it the way I would’ve as a kid: what looks cool?
Turns out games are a lot more fun when you’re discovering everything yourself and learning as you go!
Boycotting absolutely works, it simply requires a large enough amount of consumers to boycott that it affects the company’s bottom line more than they stand to gain by following through with the reason folks are boycotting.
Mate, the article links to the study, rather than be pedantic about the title you could read the study and figure out how they did the math yourself.
Fun fact: the fruit was named before the color.
For that to happen, society needs to be structured in a way that the benefits of greater productivity is distributed to everyone, particularly those most in need.
I sure as hell don’t see that happening anywhere at the moment. Productivity has grown steadily since I entered the workforce - my paycheck sure as hell hasn’t reflected that.
I did the same one and did select the crocodiles, which passed. I suspect the captcha has less to do with correct answers and more to do with analyzing mouse movements or something like that
The metal straws I own came with a brush that’s the right size to clean them.
I think it entirely depends if the next wave of democrats in charge of governance make any kind of considerable effort to embrace the working class and improve the economic conditions for the average person. As time has shown, they just never fucking do when they’re in charge. That’s why the pendulum keeps swinging further and further to the right - the democrats promise better and cannot remove themselves from their corporate donors enough to actually improve the country for the average person. So when their lives continue to get materially worse under democrats, voters once again swing to the right hoping for a change, only for things to get worse faster and the cycle to continue.
I’m hoping things are bad enough this time for democrats to actually do something. I’m not holding my breath, though.
I was beyond disappointed when they messed it up, then issued an apology with no intention whatsoever to actually try to get it right.
This isn’t true - there’s plenty of music where the tempo stays pretty strict throughout but still calls for a conductor! The conductor serves to keep the full ensemble together generally, but of course professional groups could probably get through a whole piece without one if the tempo doesn’t change much. The conductor also serves to unify the group in terms of interpretation, how loud or soft to play, how smooth or separated the notes should be, which instruments/voices should be more noticeable than others, and so on.
