Flatpaks are often restricted on what resources they can access because of how they work. I am not sure of the exact option you will need; but my guess is under devices, you can allow USB devices, and specific folder paths and it may work.

If you got MakeMKV via Flatpak, you may want to get Flatseal, and manage permissions. It may not have access to that device.

Been using this for a while now; quite the nifty project. It helps on games that don’t like steam input.

I will have to investigate running different DLSS modes. I am not on Windows; which could be part of it. But this could still help! Thank you for the share!

I for some reason cannot get good performance with RT on in the first game. I am rocking a 3090.
The second one, I also run without RT. Everything maxed out, with DLSS + FSR and I get 100+ frames on average.
I quite like the hack and slash parts, even if at times it gets extremely frustrating.

I do not buy many games at launch; but Control left such an impression on me that I just felt compelled to buy this.
I didn’t play Control when it came out. I played it years after. I am actually glad I waited to play it because I would have felt like I waited even longer for the sequel.
The differences between Control and Resonant are quite vast; but overall I feel that a lot of the same atmosphere and energy carried over. I was hesitant about it not following Jesse like the first game, and was worried that it wasn’t going to be as good. However I am 10ish hours into Resonant, and I am loving it.
I guess I will see how I feel after I beat it.

Wait, I didn’t know it supported two pucks. Today I learned. Which may help quite a bit, as I have an OpenPuck; and want to keep the charging puck at my desk; with my OpenPuck plugged into my Switch 2.
This controller is my favorite. It has great battery life. I don’t charge this thing hardly at all to be honest. The past week on multiple multi hour gaming sessions on my Switch 2 I habitually put the controller on my entertainment stand and have not bothered charging it.
Thank you for sharing!
For years I used Pihole; and still use it as a secondary DNS. But I tried Adguard, and just did not like it. So ultimately I landed on using Technitium. That has been one of the best switches for me when it comes to DNS hosting. But it may not do the job everyone is looking for.
The big reason I switched to using Technitium over Pihole for my primary DNS had less to do with privacy and more to do with functionality. I wanted to automate DNS entries, and while I could with Pihole, it was not as clean. I use DNSWeaver, and whilei DNSWeaver can use Pihole’s API to add DNS records, it doesn’t automatically clean up records when a container stops. So, in came Technitium; allowing TXT records to be created. That is how DNSWeaver knows which DNS records to clean up.
Anyways, big fan of Technitium.

Hearing your experience with it does help! Thank you for taking the time.
I self host a lot of different services for myself that’s all accessible via VPN. Everything is behind Caddy, and has an SSL cert, but only accessible on my network or via VPN.
I may investigate a VPS for running Sharkord for friends as I don’t want to expose my network more to the outside world. But this sounds rather easy, so thank you!

I was not aware of this until you brought it up. How do you personally host it. I have a group of friends I would like to get one setup for; but I don’t open up my network to the outside world (with exception of VPN for my personal use.)
How you liking it so far?

The same can be said about work. I don’t use Microsoft products in my personal life, but work, work I have to use Microsoft products.
As others have said; compartmentalize it. Treat it as it’s own entity. So for me, what I don’t want Microsoft to know about I keep off work machines, and work emails, and work network.
We sadly don’t get choice when it comes to things like School, work, etc the same as we do for our personal.

Dont forget paying registration fees. Wouldn’t put it past Rockstar.

I am right there with you. I am not pro-AI either. For non critical projects, I am less against it than for something like core systems, kernel, and such. It is great for log analysis. Taking tons of data and reporting back information I would rather not skim through line by line.
That and like you said, let’s take ethical and environmental concerns out for this. Because those are a whole other issue.
I think if it is used like a tool, and we can get it’s environmental impact under control it can be great used like the tool it is.

Albeit hesitant due to AI use; I may investigate using this.

If they were to sell it with that name officially, Nintendo would likely complain. But its just a fun name from the community, so no harm no foul. Though I can see your perspective on this.
Currently I have one Docker host. I want to split my containers across 2 hosts. Both just small form factor PCs. (Lenovo, forget the exact model. But each have 16gb of DDR4 and an i5. One is 8th gen, and the other I have to double check. The one I haven’t setup yet has an Nvidia card of sorts. I want to offload media services onto that one.)
Anyways, on to the breakdown:
Containers:
Next up I want to add Autokuma. However, I am going to split these containers onto another machine yet.
The joke with my comment was that you give little to no context. For better advice and help giving some context may be beneficial.
Have you tried scribble scrabbling the florpimijig while connected to your schmoopy doo?

I use a Motu M4 audio interface with headphones wired to it, as well as a Shure mic. Since I do music I already had it setup.
My thought is because of USB access. It wouldn’t allow that by default. But if OP has a computer with a built in drive, it’s worth a test.
