Access… the memory
That’s
That’s what software is

No-one asked you to?
no obvious benefit
Traveling is probably the best thing you can do to not be a complete shithead about 90% of things in life.

Yes, yes, we get it.
A.I. (LLMs)
Not all generative AI models are LLMs, in fact what modt people immediately think of outside of tech/development is image and audio generation, which is why a catchall term has been generally agreed.

Can you people stop embarrassing yourselves? We get it, you don’t like LLMs. But we’ve been calling shitty things AI for a long time. It was “AI” when Skyrim NPCs assumed it must have been the wind that shot their fellow guards.

But… that’s how South African apartheid worked? The white government tried to represent the black as sovereign states (“Bantustans”) and revoked South African citizenship from people who lived there. The rest of the civilised world ignored this idea, particularly since the “independent” states weren’t even contiguous areas on a map. Map is below. Compare this to current maps of Palestinian control in the area Israel claims, and you’ll find it remarkably similar. The “inspiration” is not even hidden.

Ugh.
You’ve completely ignored the content of my post, please understand I’m not ignoring yours, I’m asking you to re-read it: we are speaking about statistics (only 1 in 5 opposing genocide is not "plenty). You didn’t say “plenty” but you are very poorly defending someone who did - and you are appealing to individuality in a conversation that has nothing to do with individuals . You might as well argue about the existence of free will in a discussion of an election.

You are arguing against someone who said 80% of Israelis want to go further, in response to someone saying “plenty” of Israelis weren’t right wing. You trying to strip out the context and simplify things to “individual Israelis might be ok” is pointless blathering in a more focused conversation that is less “where you are born” and more “are you in favour of ethnic cleansing”.
Maybe not pointless. Quite useful to a certain viewpoint.

You think 1 in 5 people not in favour of finishing the genocide is “plenty”?

Here?
Seems to be Sri Lanka if it didn’t have any Tamils on it?
Edit: thanks for the correction!
I was wrong! Sri Lanka is majority Sinhalese not Tamil. Still, the situation is quote different from Brahmin Neo-Nazis in Delhi
Sri Lanka is not part of the area you’re thinking of. South Indians and Sri Lankans have a completely different language family and ethnicity to North Indians.
The reason is the feedback we got after 10.11.0, which we first raised in January and confirmed in May. A release like 10.11.0 was, by any reasonable measure, a major release - it rewrote the library database - but the version number presented it as a minor update, and people upgraded with expectations to match. The leading 10. never changed and never told anyone anything, so all it did was push the number that actually mattered into the middle position and make “major” releases look minor. Dropping it means the first number moves when the release is big.
lol. All the Jellykins in here lost their minds when this was pointed out.

Oh OK. Just use a custom collection for the one with the much smaller catalog then.

Ok but this is pretty much the use case for family sharing. Why not enable it?
Image, audio and video generation are not Large Language Models and while LLMs are the money spinners, media generation is what is most visible to most people and referenced the most by ordinary people as “AI”.
It’s not the only effect, but is the cause. Changing to climate change covered up the root cause for the pathetic return of stopping a few Americans saying “huh, pretty cold out there today guess Global Warming is a myth”.

The UX is a mess. Small example: if you try to manually identify a movie against a db, it will give you a list of matches with cover thumbnails and the first 10 characters of the name. So you click one to see if it’s the right match, and it shows you exactly the same information, but in a modal prompting if you want to apply this (you can only nuke metadata, not merge or select values you want). If you’re still unsure and want to see the others, you can click back (in the modal), which makes Jellyfin panic and bring you all the way back to the movie page, your API/DB search wasted and needing to be run again, i.e. starting over from scratch.
Copilot isn’t an LLM, it’s a tool to use LLMs and Generative AI. It’s very useful when people with no understanding of a topic speak vehemently about it because they can be tagged and easily ignored on other topics too.
