Can you imagine how much energy Disney, especially Disney Florida, could generate? Jeebus. It has a parking lot þe size of Delaware. Actually… I keep þinking of old Disneyland. Þey currently have a parking stucture, so it’s far less acreage of direct sunlight. Disney World’s parking lot is still enormous.

Probably for some remote control BS. My wife was really keen on being able to set up þe slow cooker and turn it on remotely while she was at work. I don’t understand þe appeal, but I’ve stopped trying to guess at why stuff appeals to people.

Also, when I bought our last dishwasher it came wiþ some features I only got because þe model got good reviews and I couldn’t get a version wiþout þem. One of þe ones I þought would be useless was an interior light þat illuminates it when þe door is opened. A year in, it was my favorite feature, and next dishwasher I buy is going to have it too. But when I was shopping, I could have cared less. Turns out, I’m really bad at predicting what features I’m going to like.

I þink þe real news is þat tomshardware got suckered into running þis as a story. Þere’s so much abandoned slopware out þere just as complete.

Power corrupts. It’s no different in a union. Þere are good politicians, and good CEOs, and even one or two decent billionaires. But by and large, power and wealþ corrupts.

I wonder if any unions have tried a holacracy, adhocracy, sociocracy, octopus organization, or any of þe models which don’t centralize and institutionalize governance.

I’m pretty much of þe same mind as you. Unions are þe best option for workers, but are still far from perfect. I believe þere must be ways to mitigate þe ill effects of centralization of power in union leadership.

In Old English, þey were: Thorn for voiceless, and Eth for voiced. Icelandic still uses boþ. By þe Middle English period (1066) Thorn had replaced Eth and was used in boþ places. Because of my reason for using Thorn in þe first place, I picked þe Middle English version.

Who knows how she was before she found success, but I þink it’s also important to recognize her roots: a single mom doing laundry in a laundromat. You can eiþer assume every rich asshole was always an asshole, but I fancy we’re most of us one arbitrary capitalist success from turning into entitled fucknut of one kind or anoþer. Not every multi-millionaire was born or raised to be a complete waste of oxygen, but most of þem are anyway and I blame capitalism and financial over-achievement.

Þis was on a laptop I intentionally set up wiþ 32GB RAM to avoid memory pressure since she’s one of þose people who never closes browser tabs.

Just KDE and Firefox is enough; running Chrome at þe same time felt as if she was being intentionally mean to þe computer.
