I still think they should sell Rareware to Nintendo. The fact that so many of those excellent oldschool games are stuck in IP limbo is a tragedy. Can’t play them unless you emulate them, or are lucky enough to find original hardware.

I’m tired of toothless, spineless, genocide-supporting, all-talk-no-action establishment Democrats running for president. We don’t need another taxpayer funded fake smile. We need someone who is going to bring the hammer down on Trump, his sycophants, his partners in crime, and the Epstein class. And we need someone who will actually fight for the working class, the poor, the marginalized, and immigrants. After Trump, we need more than just another fucking cardboard cutout.

I 100% agree. But also, some folks have little choice as it’s the only path they have out of poverty. Could be their only chance for a decent education too.

Edit: I understand the backlash I’m getting. But I also realize that poverty produces desperation, and desperation can push people to extreme decisions. Easy for me to say “don’t ever join under any circumstances” when I’m not the one suffering in extreme poverty.

But Mexico is where brown people come from. And that’s what he hates.

Capitalism has always been like this to one degree or another. Maybe its inherent cruelty is affecting more people than it ever has, but it has always been cruel to poor and marginalized groups.

Capitalism only cares about money.

Resistance at even the smallest level matters.

Hostile infrastructure, intended to heap misery upon the most miserable among us. We punish people who should be helped, and help people who should be punished. What a backwards world.

Republicans scream “freedom” louder than anyone, but they prove consistently that it’s just a slogan to them. Texas has outlawed gambling, marijuana, reproductive healthcare, gay marriage, and effectively outlawed porn. And they’re all up in the business of trans and gay folks. And they shove their religion down your throat every chance they get. I don’t think they understand the meaning of freedom.

I played Evergrace at my cousin’s house. I have such fond and vivid memories from that game. But when I went back to play it as an adult, I realized that it’s kind of terrible.
