Serious question: if Europe were to fully commit to installing renewables, how much dependence on diesel would it maintain in, say, one year? I mean really putting it all in, like a war economy but with this

Everyone uses their own system, in my country sharing via torrent (as long as there is no profit) is not a legal problem, so instead of VPN I use duckdns and ngix proxy manager for access, with two manuals and a couple of afternoons to get everything working everything goes great

Hahahaha no You receive a visit from my system -arr. I receive your content on my jellyfin server

Opera on mobile and desktop

Normally, when arguments are lacking or so blatantly stupid that they are either propaganda or the person is so foolish that, well, it’s also propaganda, even if unintentionally.

If something has even minimally structured arguments, I will rarely label it as propaganda and almost never block it.

Believing that all opinions are propaganda is a good starting point for totalitarianism.

Please, even occasionally do the mental exercise that I recommend in the previous comment. Sometimes read opinions that are very contrary to yours and you don’t even need to answer them, but make the mental effort to structure an answer with your own arguments, I think it is healthy to understand others

No one should be reading opinions 24/7/52/365.25, whether they agree with or oppose their own ideas.

While I agree with telling off anyone who just wants to spread propaganda, I also think it’s important to read opinions you disagree with. And not just to convince yourself or others, the mere act of mentally contradicting someone else’s arguments can be quite an important mental exercise.

I don’t know the details of your needs, but perhaps giving up a part of your plan in order to implement the rest is something to consider, I mean, functioning half-heartedly in this case is better than not working at all.

I have a server running with a Raspberry pi and some old hard drives, the performance is limited, but it works

I don’t know how things are right now, but a couple of years ago I researched the topic and read that an instance.onion would have difficulties to properly federate with instances no .onion, which seems logical. It would be necessary to create a parallel lemmy only with .onion

I’m not on the list, I feel deeply offended, I need to work more actively to improve this site.

Why would anyone want to use software under those conditions? You have to be a real loser to not be able to interact with all those people and try to prevent others from doing so as well.

It’s easy, with the same defense as when a politician is caught stealing: “they’re all the same/everyone does it/you’d do it in their position.”

There are no examples of top-level teams doing anything similar; yes, there have been bad or mediocre teams doing things like that, but it’s something that tournaments have been trying to curb for a long time, it’s not something to boast about and take to the highest level, as Argentina has done so many times.

The same goes for racism; many Spanish fans chant nonsense believing it’s justified in the stadium. The difference is that the press, institutions, and society are ashamed of it and try to shame those who do it, instead of justifying and defending it with things like “Well, it’s just the game.”

That is simply not true, no one has played like this, not 30 years ago or ever, things like this (https://imgur.com/nEfw1Tr) are not acceptable on a football field and never have been and things like this (https://imgur.com/tuvOdJ1) are not acceptable on a stadium and never have been.

There is no coordinated campaign against argentina either out of envy or strange unknown interests, It is an accumulation of years playing outside the rules, playing “roughly” does go against the rules, the rules are explicitly for that, scoring a goal with your hand is illegal and should embarrass whoever scores it if the referee does not realize it, It’s not something about “smart people” it’s something about cheaters and obviously the rest of us don’t like anyone to win that way, I don’t think it’s anything surprising

I think it’s because football fans have been dealing with this crap from Argentina basically ever. They are a dirty and underhanded team at all times, and that generates hatred from championship to championship.

The lack of sportsmanship shown by the Argentine players has been despicable throughout the tournament. As a Spaniard, I appreciate the great support on social media, but I know we didn’t earn it; Argentina earned that support for us.

Temperatures are breaking all-time records and our infrastructure isn’t ready for that? What a shocking surprise!

As a European, I will never understand how, having primary elections, this hasn’t happened decades ago.

I don’t understand the surprise, Iran has won the war, it’s obvious
