Why is minimum specs the only one to have a specific intel cpu and ryzen equivalent when every other category is ryzen cpu or Intel equivalent? Is it some convoluted way to throw shade at Intel or something
I think it’s just that the 7600K was incredibly popular, and for good reason: it’s still relevant after 6 years.
Putting the 3700x (a 4yo chip) in “recommended” essentially communicates that it scales with more cores, but that any recent mid-range CPU is probably good enough (my 5600X generally beats the 3700X).
DLSS at performance for recommended 1080@60 on a RTX 3070… Aw Where is the line between laziness and progress? I remember playing god of war on a R9 390 and the game looked awesome while still managing to run at 1080@60.
It feels like a most of the Devs switched from “looking and playing good on midtier hardware” to “playable on toptier and I don’t care about the rest”
